Underwater crossing pipelines, inspection services for ultra-deeply buried pipelines, and equipment R&D

Drawing on the technological expertise of Zhejiang University and the Academy of Science and Technology at Zhejiang University of Technology, our company has invented the DEEP SEE SYSTEM for underwater crossing and ultra-deeply buried pipeline inspection through years of technological R&D and field trials. We developed a data acquisition and analysis model for underwater crossing pipelines capable of precisely locating pipelines buried up to 40 meters deep, and established a dedicated underwater crossing pipeline management database.

With the accumulation of technology from Zhejiang University and the Institute of Science and Technology of Zhejiang University of Technology, after several years of technology research and development and field tests, the company invented the underwater crossing and large buried DEEP crossing pipeline detection SYSTEM (DEEP SEE SYSTEM), and developed the underwater crossing pipeline data acquisition and analysis model, which can accurately locate and detect the buried depth of the pipeline within 40 meters. And established the underwater crossing pipeline management database, relying on the technical team won the "Ningbo Pan-3315 series" award.


Based on the electromagnetic fitting calculation method recommended in GB/T 37369-2019 "Inspection and Evaluation of the Crossing Section of Buried Steel Pipeline", the DEEP SEE system positions the pipeline and determines the buried depth. Sonar technology measures the water depth and maps the contour of the river bed, supplemented by real-time dynamic carrier phase difference technology (RTK). The electromagnetic dynamic fitting technology, sonar, underwater robot and GPS are integrated into the DEEP SEE system, which is applied to the detection of pipelines at large buried depths and underwater crossing sections. With a high degree of automation, the system realizes the synchronous acquisition of all data, and works with the underwater robot equipped with a multi-beam imaging system to scan and clearly image the pipelines exposed to the riverbed. The electromagnetic field is represented by an active method, and the results are more comprehensive and accurate.


The buried depth calculation is based on electromagnetic fitting technology, eight kinds of modified dynamic calculation models are adopted, and the optimal calculation method of calibration points is adopted to eliminate the influence of environmental factors.


Data matching real-time acquisition, accurate location of the pipeline, while collecting the corresponding point signal value, coordinate information and water depth, to ensure the accuracy of the results;

DEEP SEE equipment is widely used in National Pipeline Network Group and natural gas companies in various provinces. The rivers tested include small big excavation, large Yangtze River crossing and ocean current branch crossing pipelines, and a number of pipeline hazards have been detected, including shallow buried pipelines, underwater exposed pipelines, serious erosion and other safety hazards.
